Become a Member of the Maine State Museum

You can become a member of the Maine State Museum by contacting the Friends of the Maine State Museum. Created in 1992, the Friends administers the museum's membership program, helps with fundraising efforts, encourages volunteer support, and sponsors special events and educational programs.

Your support as a member of the Maine State Museum helps you be a part of the museum's exciting efforts to preserve Maine's natural and cultural past through its collections, exhibitions, and educational programs.

Additionally, Corporate Members will receive transferable passes for their staff and guests; Curator's Circle Members will receive an invitation to a special event each year hosted by one or more of the museum curators; Museum Director's Circle Members will receive an invitation to an event hosted by the museum director.
